New painting

This new painting is a scene near Big Bend Ranch State Park, south of Marfa, Texas. This is a fairly remote area where one can see many ocotillos. Harsh, austere land; but the natural surroundings are so beautiful, especially the ocotillos when they are in bloom. The view faces south toward the Mexico - U.S. border.
